Hello everyone,

Orange is a strategy that combines the critical influences of the church and home to INCITE WONDER, PROVOKE DISCOVERY and FUEL PASSION IN THE HEARTS OF THE NEXT GENERATION.

We want to equip our kids from 1st-6th grade with these basic truths;

I need to make the wise choice (WISDOM)
I can trust God no matter what (FAITH)

I should treat others the way I want to be treated (FRIENDSHIP)

These truths will be reinforced each week with our curriculum and as our kids break up into small group bible study classes.

1st-2nd– Ms. Lisa Koo

3rd-4th-Ms. Emma Kim

3rd-4th-Ms. Lauren Yu

5th-6th-Mr. Stan Jung

So please print the pdf file(s) (which were sent to you by email) and post them on your refrigerator and help your child(ren) memorize the monthly memory verse (as best as you and your child can). There are suggested activities called GodTime for your child(ren) to have devotional time on their own (4th-6th graders) and with some help and guidance for (1st-3rd graders) as well for your consideration 😉

If you would like more information please log onto www.whatisorange.com

Temperatures will drop again and we’re expecting snow. Stay warm!

For the little ones,

Hello Parents,

We have started a new curriculum called “Orange.”  The goal of Orange is to combine the two primary influences that impact a child’s life (namely, church and family).  So if church is yellow and family is red , then together we are orange .

The main three objectives are:

•             To help kids see God for who He is

•             To help kids see themselves the way God does

•             So that kids can love others the way He does

Therefore, let’s make orange together! So please print the pdf file(s) which were sent to you by email and post them on your refrigerator and help your child(ren) memorize the monthly memory verse (as best as you and your child can). There are suggested activities called GodTime for your child(ren) to have devotional time on their own (4th-6th graders) and with some help and guidance for (1st-3rd graders) as well for your consideration 😉

If you have any questions or concerns please email me or grab me at church. I would love to talk with you about your child.

For His Children,

Pastor Eunice

Just a recap of Sunday’s message…I hope and pray we can G.R.O.W together and be F.A.T.  together. (smiles)

Go to church and bible study

Read the bible and pray

Obey God throughout the week

Watch for ways to witness

Well, this month, we are starting a new curriculum from Orange called BASICS 252. To learn a little more this you can log onto www.whatisorange.org

This month’s Life Application and theme is –KNOWLEDGE

Attached (emailed) is the week’s bible story and memory verse and some questions you can ask your children during meal time and a moment to have Parent Time.  There is also GodTime you can print out for your children to have Quiet Time (any 4 days they want). The upper grades 4th-6th should be able to do it on their own and K-3rd may need some guidance and help).

This is a great website and offers an app for parents as we strive to become godly parents.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me.

Stay warm,

Pastor Eunice
